Okay I created an event for tonight.

Can people modify their status via wowarmory's calendar tab?

The only reason I haven't been using the calendar is because you can't leave comments and doesn't provide a way for people of both guilds to sign up if they want to be on the alt list (unless there is something I don't know).

Would you guys prefer to use both the bon calendar and the wow calendar?

I just like it b/c it solves the "when do is the raid going to start?, when are invites? did invites go out? hey anyone know if there is a raid tonight? oh my did anyone send out an invite yet? Are we raiding or what? ......."

Plus I think it makes one click invites pretty easy.

So use the bon calendar to manage things, use the wow calendar to stop the above, b/c clowning someone for not going to website is not as good as clowning someone for not clicking on a button in game .

there's an addon called "guild calendar" it changes the calendar, in a way that u can set events up, ppl can sign up, leave short comments. just dont know if the event creator can put ppl from bon.

Yeah I took a look at that.

I decided it might be a bit too cumbersome b/c then everyone would need to have it, people would need to login to wow to make changes, which aren't always possible (aka I have to work late type thing).

It is a good though .

The event calendar can invite anyone regardless of guild but being able to see the event when not invited is the problem.

Most guild partnerships like ours fail quickly so you don't see much time being put in to support them by Bliz or add-on developers. Our situation is rather unique.

I hope they put in a favorites feature, or an ability to copy an event next update.

Right now inputting 25+ names each time is kind of tidious and you have a chance of forgetting someone.

Another reason why I wouldn't make it the source of truth.
