i downloaded new vent. big mistake. now i have ths black box in the uper left hand conrer of my screen and it maps over everything wow, internet, and everything else. on my UI this is where my portret is and below that is where grid sits. this black box is very anoying and i was wording if anyone knows A. how to remove this box completely from my veiw, or B. a safe spot on the internext were i can download the V3.0.2 client version of vent.

also on a side note, if i cant fix this then i will have problems durning raids as i will not be on vent. ( i really cant stand that box)

doesnt show in SS. its not a wow mod. it goes over evewrything. internet. paint, word. anything. it shows the names of people whos talking

so i guess it ant bad. ill have to try to get used to and deal

You sure it doesn't have a setting for "always on top" or something?

i found out what it is, in vent setting there is an option for an "overlay" you can turn it off and/or move it on the screen

I would sort of like to see an overlay when people are talking, that would be pretty neat. If I could position it though so it isn't on the map that would be great.

how do u repostion/ its a nice overlay that shows u whos talking. but i need to move it to somewhere better.

Not to sound like a commercial... but a nice feature on the G15 keyboard is that you can get an addon that will display the name of the person who's talking on vent.
