that isnt a problem. everyone that is registered can show up on the front page. desucof shows up there quite often for me. the only problem is that it shows ex-guildies guild rank even tho they arent in the guild anymore.

This is now "In the slot". I am planning to rip the site apart and put it back together again a la Copperhead road. At that time I will address both old and new issues and up the coolness a full 3 notches.

I found this link via the Pants web site. I believe Des is going to play with it.

the problem i noticed by reading that link I posted, is that combatlogs are set at 40 yards.

If at anytime he or I was 40 yards away from someone we would lose out on data.

The thing about SWStats is that it uses one channel. Whoever has the same version will automatically share the data. That is why I dropped Damage meters, took too much effort to sync.

I don't know if Damage Meters auto clears data also. I ran a Furnance with a level 68 hunter when I was on trev. So basically we were standing next to each other. My stats showed I beat him by .5%. he showed his damage meters and he had like 150k more then me by the first boss. I told him maybe he should reset his meter before we start. He said he did, but I am guessing he was just pissed, and couldn't admit to it.

Maybe he had "combine pets data with your own" checked and you didn't? There shouldn't be a discrepancy if you are both using swstats and synched.

WWS isn't only cool because you can see who done damage but you can see how they did it, how many crits, how many misses, what spells they used, etc. The data collection goes on and on. Having issues keeping a tank up on a fight or DPS is dieing. Look at the boss info and it can show you who is being it with what and for how much. Is your tank just taking too many crushing blows? Is he being crit (slacker doesn't have enough defense)? This shows it.

It is a thing of beauty for analyzing your raid. I'm excited about getting some of our data into it then browsing others and seeing how my tanking mitigation compares to warriors and paladins doing the same encounters. I can play around with balancing armor and dodge and see how that affects the total damage I recieved for the fight of for certain phases (prince phase 2 I'm looking at you).

I am BM specc'd, I have to have the combined checked, or I look like a worthless scrub :).

No it was a difference of him using Damage Meters(tm) and Me using SWStats(tm).

I know the SWStats display/filter starts afresh when I am in a group.

I don't think Damage Meters does.

haha I edited :P

And remember with SWStats it doesn't actually delete your data when you join/leave a group it just starts a new split on the timeline. You can always go back and look at past groups. Especially helpful if you reset it during boss attempts.

/swstats reset Moroes8

I forget how to look up the data, b/c someone always asks me when someone leaves the group, and then the percentages get all messed up.

It is usually, man where was I on the damage meter. And I say wow you did 80% of the damage, b/c the other two people left the group.

Change the setting to "always group" instead of "current group".

Does it still splice the time, so i don't have to remember to set it when I start the instance?

When I go in as a healer the only time I end up looking at the meters is when I am making fun of Ishmael for being affliction spec and not being able to do enough damage on trash mobs to keep up with random ADD rogue.
