I would like to be able to set out a mass PM, let's say to all our healers to get a roll call of who can do what raid without having to send each one individually.

There is one. I'm reading up on it now. I'm not sure this is a good idea yet as there will be emails sent with every PM which may make us appear even more like spammars.
