Ok, we're having a problem with porn in the guild apps section. I have deleted 3 posts last night and now 3-4 in the last 2 hours.

I don't see a way to really be able to filter these out so... Can we keep people from being able to post pics, videos, or links?
I know that peopel can always link their armory pages in legit apps, but I'd rather prevent that and possibly cut back on the spam.

is it possible to just auto-ban anyone that has the words porn or sex in their name or profile website? all of these porn posters have some sex related web link in their profile.

Droog is it useful to keep track of the posting ip's before we delete offending posts?

Most service providers have dynamic IP's (like a dial up or cable company) so you don't always have a static IP unless you pay for a server that gives you one.

I just deleted 7 porn posts by 3 different user names.

Keeping track of IP's would be like trying to collect snowflakes to identify who made the storm.

I have removed guest posting abilities from the Guild Application forums. I will address this this afternoon.

Great, most all show up in apps section. However some are starting to show up in the other areas. Like last night.

And now we wait and see:

1) Guests must now complete a visual Captcha when posting in Guild Apps.
2) When registering the Yes/No question has been changed.
3) All users who were Inactive or Banned have been deleted. (See we only have ~175 members, not 2800.

NOTE: I may have inadvertantly deleting someones who had 0 posts, and was inactive.
