Haha, it was so much easier than I remember from when we did it a long time ago.

Best idea was for darth to sac his void. it allowed me to keep renews on him and shield while only occasionally have to throw him a big heal. It allowed me to spot heal tanks and keep flash heals going on demon sacs.

Indeed, using Demonic Sac (not regular Sac where he becomes a shield) on the VW grants me 2% of my total health every 4 seconds. This freed up Cross more and allowed me to life tap more, so I was attacking the whole fight. Now with my decent hit rating, I could seed the boss without being resisted too often. That was key because seeds go off when a certain dmg level is reached. Obviously Illhoof receives that dmg amount almost instantly from us, whereas when seeding the imps it takes a lot longer to go off. So I could throw seeds up every 1-2 seconds and life tap get that huge mana loss back. Would be a little more difficult without a DS warlock imo.

This type of so-called humor cannot be tolerated. Respect the lock.
You never find yourself saying, "Damn, we can't do this boss because we need a huntard."

You might do some research on Molten Core. I'll give you a hint he may or may not be the second boss.

I agree Dome. Now that we're 70, hunters wouldn't be needed...ever.

Illhoof can be done without a lock... but it sucks without one.

There are a few bosses that can say the same about a hunter. In addition to the already referenced boss, a hunter makes the fights easier against: General Drakkisath in UBRS and the hunter boss with the enslaved druid in Underbog.

I was saying that more because I remember being frustrated trying to do mag with only one hunter with tranq or even 2 if one missed more than once.

Ahhhh, the good old days.

My favorite ubrs run had a rogue sinister strike drakk then sprint all the way back through the instance. Good times.
